I am honored to be your Escondido 2010 Mayoral Candidate. I was elected to the city council in 2004 and re-elected in 2008, finishing first among six candidates. I have 35 years of civic and business experience, 12 years career with IBM in Engineering and Management, and served as Chairman of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. We have lived, owned and managed our family business in Escondido for 23 years.
As your Councilman, I’ve worked hard to improve public safety and our quality of life. I will continue to fight government waste and taxes and lead
our city to financial stability during these tough economic times.
Smaller Government, Fiscal Discipline, Public Safety, Public Works, our Libraries and Parks must remain our top priorities. As your mayor, I will lead to build our economy, create jobs, balance our budget, support your business, and promote safer and healthier neighborhoods.
I pledge my unwavering commitment, hard work and passion to make our city a better community. I am excited about our future and the opportunities ahead of us. Together, we will overcome our challenges, provide a better life for our families, and make Escondido the best city in North County.
